If Starcraft players love what's on offer for them and believe paying $70 for that is fair that's awesome, buy the ticket. If someone personally feels that the Sombra skin is worth 70 bucks then great, buy the ticket. First time in ages I won't be buying a virtual ticket, but I won't miss a thing that virtual ticket buyers get - oh, except for whatever they throw up as the pre-Blizzcon video series. So when you see people post that it's not good value, don't say it isn't a fact because it IS fact to those people (I'm one). Or you could buy the WoD Digital Deluxe item pack for AU$20, the Legion Digital Deluxe item pack for AU$25 AND have enough change left over to get yourself a WoW token for game time or in-game gold! This will cost you US$49.99 or where I'm from AU$69.95 - to put that into perspective if you spend AU$85.80 you get 180 days of game time and the Dreadwake Mount. That means that this year's offering to someone who plays WoW exclusively can be seen as a very expensive package of a cloak, toy banner and the above mentioned demo that will be released to the general public (not just to current Blizzard customers) within the very near future. Naturally that means those who get the most value each year are those that play the majority of Blizzard games, and those that get the least play one or two games. To the rest of us the value of the ticket resides in the exclusive goodies that come fr the games we play. I'm not saying that no-one buys the ticket for the stream, I'm sure many people do and if they want to spend their own hard-earned or not so hard-earned on that, all power to them as it's their money (well hopefully theirs anyway lol). The vast majority of Virtual ticket buyers I've talked to over the years (and it's been a lot) do not buy the ticket for the video stream, they buy it for the exclusive extras that come with the ticket. Blizzcon is Blizzcon and that's a separate thing to Virtual Blizzcon by a long way lol. ![]() No you will not be watching it live as it happens on those sites, but you do get to see it all very soon after. The reason goodies where thrown in with the virtual ticket is because you literally can get everything else the virtual ticket provides for free via YouTube and other sites. ![]() I know the White Knights and Blizz Cheer Squad will be shouting that you don't pay for the demo, you are paying for the online Blizzcon content but lets not have facts get in the way of a good story lol. Don't confuse a limited time, single zone, very expensive demo with the full version of the classic game - there is a million miles of difference. Comment by obbig on T05:23:59-05:00Ĭlassic demo (limited time, non-exclusive, one zone demo at that) of a game that was out over a decade ago might be a big thing to some people, although I think saying a lot may be a stretch. Worthless WOW backs and Who care? Classic and another ugly looking Crap. Keep that up and in 3 years Blizz will be the next EA. So we pay 10 Euro more and we get far less.? ![]() ![]() My expression is that I expected a traditional way which Blizzard had done for so many past years would continue. I have an opinion and I put words over here. But it's not ruining my life like a lot of people are acting.Ĭhill, no one said it ruined lives. Blizzard developers work hard on their games and I would have loved a traditional mount and pet for WoW like everyone else. Blizzcon virtual may not be worth it to you but it is for others, including me. That's all you have to say? Maybe because they are right. Classic demo at home is a big thing to a lot of people who care for that game. This year Blizzcon virtual content is virtually missing the mark by a LOT.
